General description
Water is entered in either the funnel or directly in the spoon by small drops with as small kinetic energy as possible. The self-emptying tipping bucket is magnetic centered and rolling in a zero-friction suspension. The spoon will be tipping when the calibrated amount of water is obtained. When the spoon tips, the magnet on the back of the spoon activates two reed switches (a Normally Closed or a Normally Open).
